Located in a sandy ravine, the Thunderclan camp is surrounded by brambles, accessible through a gorse tunnel. There is a tall boulder in the clearing, called the Highrock, used by the leader to call meetings in a sandy clearing. The camp is surrounded by protective barriers such as brambles, nettles, woven ferns, and a fallen tree. The fresh-kill pile usually lies at the side of the clearing. The nursery is under a thick bramble bush, while the apprentices' den is in a clump of ferns, beside a tree stump and the warriors' den is under a bush located next to the nursery. The medicine cat's den is a crack in a rock, near a small grassy clearing, a tunnel of ferns leading to it. The elders' den is under a jutting branch in the fallen tree that has grass, moss and ferns sprouting from every crevice in the tangle of wood. The leader's den is a cave in the Highrock with lichen hanging over the entrance.

An area filled with red sand and dirt, sheltered by trees, this training hollow is located in a slight dip just outside of the ThunderClan camp. A stream runs beyond the hollow, sometimes making the ground moist and clay-like. Due to the soft ground, training cats are unlikely to get hurt while fighting. It can also serve as a well-known meeting place for warriors and apprentices alike, an example being apprentices meeting their mentors before assessments.

The Owl Tree is a massive oak close to Fourtrees, identifiable from the rest of the forest due to its size and the presence of owl droppings. The tree is rather tall and has a hole in its trunk higher up, that is home to an owl who scatters its pods on the ground below. When prey is scarce, and on windy nights, warriors look to see where the owl is hunting so that they may find prey.

An old deer blind that was built and either lost or forgotten by the twolegs, it is a fun place for apprentice to play or try to catch birds or other prey from, often pushing or daring each other to jump from the high loft. Able to be reached by climbing up the ladder or from the branches of the trees nearby, it's a good place see the forest from high off the ground.

Located quite close to the Thunderpath, Snakerocks is not too far from the camp, south of the Spiderwebs. The clearing is made up of a tumbled pile of steep, sand-colored rocks with weeds and plants growing between them, a leafy bank that spills onto the top of the rocks. It is a good place to find herbs, especially chervil and yarrow, but any cat who ventures there has to be on careful watch for adders, since they choose to bask in the sun's warmth here. It is very dangerous for untrained apprentices to go near due to the presence of the predators, including not only the adders, but also the foxes. It smells of stone, lichen, and the sharp tang of pines. There is a hole at the bottom of the rocks where cats and dogs can go into. Thunderclan uses Snakerocks for a hunting ground, usually during leaf-bare, when the adders aren't there. Even if they hunt there in the other seasons, a guard is usually assigned to sit watch for adders while other cats hunt.

Located very close to the Thunderpath, the Tallpines is a controlled forest, grown for the purpose of wood for Twolegs. Since it is controlled, the ground nearby is always bare, save for several layers of prickly dead needles, and can be a good spot to hunt for prey, bu also for the hunters to be spoted. Tallpines consists of numerous rows of tall, straight, shady, pine trees. The forest floor is flat, and puddles are very muddy and usually unhealthy to drink from.
