This bit of forest is the only decent place to find anything to eat on Bay Peak, so a small pack could potentially survive here if their coats were thick enough to survive the heavy and devastating winters. The pine trees stand tall and proud and cover the rough terrain, easily seen by all of the surrounding territories.

Located in the tall peaks of the mountain, some of the largest caves are right beside the freezing bay, offering little warmth, but plenty of protection from the blizzards that fall and winter bring and the roaring winds that surround the mountains year round. Even if some canine were to make it up the Trek, and through the Highlands, it's very unlikely they'd hand around this eerie place for long. After all, it's not uncommon to come across a bear or two in one of these old caves.
