In Evacuate the Camp! [All Riverclan Cats]

Unlike the rest of the clans, Riverclan makes their camp on a large, well-drained island that is covered with dense reeds, which can only be reached by swimming to it. While floods present a danger, the island drains well enough that the camp is rarely disturbed by rising waters. All of the dens are made up of tightly woven reeds and other vegetation and things such as feathers and moss and the cats decorate them with rocks and shells. Clan meetings are called from a low lying tree branch that runs from an ancient willow that shadows the camp. The clearing is less sandy than one would expect from an island, covered with flattened grass and reeds. The medicine den is the only solid den, located past a deep olive sedge and into a smooth rock den. The apprentice and warrior den is between the medicine den and the nursery, made of woven reeds and moss. The nursery is tucked away into a thick sedge wall, made of willow branches and reeds. The elders' den is at the high end of a slope of the same sedge wall, made of woven willow stems. The leader's den is built of willow stems and woven into the roots of the ancient willow where meetings are called from.

The Reeds

Located just outside of the Riverclan camp, this area is closer to the shore of the beach and often wet from a night's rain or high tide, leaving the reeds damp or a couple paws worth of water soaking the apprentices' feet. Tall reeds and the nearby water make this a prime place to teach Riverclan cats how to fight in and around water, and how to use the water to their advantage. The Reeds in the main clearing are, like the camp, all matted down and folded in on themselves, while the rest of the reeds create a series of mazes and walls to give the warriors and their apprentices privacy while training.

The Sunning Rocks

Sunningrocks is located at the very border between RiverClan and ThunderClan at the south end of the river that divides their territories. It is a large, flat rock formation in full view of the sun, getting very warm, therefore, it is a desirable location for warriors to take a break or elders to get out and stretch their legs. Its sheer size shadows the river and there are lots of prey animals nearby, but it also a good calm place to fish. While it is currently a part of Riverclan, this area is subject to raids from Thunderclan, the territory having gone back and forth in ownership for as long as anyone can recall.

The Lagoon

Set in the basin of the ocean to the east, the lagoon is full of mostly clear and still brackish water, where the rivers to the west and the ocean meet. The water is shallow and a good place for swimming and hunting as a sand barrier protects it from any strong currents or waves from the sea. There are rocks, both flat and smooth and tall and rocky, some covered in sharp barnacles. This is a good spot to find shells or other things to decorate their camp with and sometimes cats will be picking amongst the sand trying to find something.

Stone Badger Sett

Thought of by the clan to be an unusually large badger sett, this is actually an old bunker from war times, made by a paranoid two leg who decided to have a bomb shelter built into the isolated area. Located just south of the Shadowclan border among the hills, animals seek shelter in this sett from the rain or the snow as it is dry and mostly warm. While some cats will try to dare each other to go inside and mess about, it is generally avoided due to the presence of badgers and the occasion fox or dog.

The Lake

Located just south of Fourtrees, this lake is the mouth of the river that flows between Thunderclan and Riverclan, with much of the lake flowing onto Riverclan territory. While the Lake is somewhat large, it is clear enough to see the bottom along most of the edge, and relatively still expect for some lapping of the water against the sandy shore. Like many places in the Riverclan territory, this is a good place for fishing and several rivers flow off and into Riverclan territory. Unfortunately during Newleaf this area is often swarmed by two legs who stay in the Boatplace on the lake and play in the lake and ride around on boats they bring with them on their monsters.
