Identity Crisis
Full Name: Sunstrike
Nick Names: Nein
Age: 13 Moons
Sex: She-Cat
Breed: Abyssinian
Alliance: Shadowclan
Position: Warrior
Sexuality: Undecided
Looking In The Mirror
Eye Color: Hazel Gold
Pelt: Sandy gold with a brown tinge on her back.
Body Type: Slim & lanky
Identifying Features: Short fur, large ears
Appearance:
Sunstrike is a very slimy, lanky cat, and looks nothing like her mother or her father, but none the less, she is their kit. When/If she ever does happen to meet her father, it is highly likely that he will see kittypet blood in her and ignore the she-cat for her petite form, and think her useless. Sunstrike is a sandy color with almost sparkling gold flecks that shine in the sunlight. Her tail tip and ear tips are brown. She inherited her pedigree from her grandmother, Jaggedstone's mother, Molly, who was a pretty show cat in her younger days. She has a few brown markings on her face as well, giving her almost lynx-like qualities. Her eyes are hazel like her father's, looking primarily gold, and less green, unlike her brother and her half siblings, who all for the most part (as far as I could see when reading their bios) have hazel green eyes.

Personality:
Though rather small, she is a very courageous cat. Sometimes she does things that older and wiser cats would call stupid, but they always work out. In fact when they were apprentices, she saved her brother from the tide when they were exploring one of the many caves in and near Shadowclan, and swims him over to a rock to wait out the fast flowing tide. She has also spent a great deal of time scouring the Windclan borders in hope of meeting a cat who might be able to tell her who the Jagged Stone of BloodClan was. Some say she's courageous. Others say she's stupid. Sunstrike loves nothing more than watching the sweet little kits for the queens, or helping an apprentice if their mentor is sick or busy doing other things. Thought only just a warrior herself, she can't wait to have her own apprentice. While she really isn't the romantic, she would like to have her own kits and raise them to be as loving of each other as she and her brother were. Often times she is the cat that the queens will send to search thew forest if they notice their kits have wandered off. And kits seem to like her just as much in return, while serious a great deal of the time, she finds great joy in making the kits smile by playing their silly games with them. While courageous and very stubborn, she is very touchy about herself. She wishes she was a tom, and when toms flirt with her she's actually offended, believing that they only want her for her pretty she kitty body and that they don't actually enjoy her company or appreciate her intelligence. She also took criticism from her mentor during training just as badly, and would become sulky with everyone. They only person who could get away with making any sort of “suggestion” is her older brother, Adderfang, who seemed to always know just how and what to say to make it feel like something she wanted, instead of someone telling her she needed to change.

History:
Since the day she could remember, Sunstrike and Adderfang, and their sister Rainkit would listen to their mother's magnificent storied about their heroic and handsome father, the Jagged Stone of BloodClan. He wasn't an evil cat, like the rest of them, she told them, but rather a very heroic ex-Clan cat who had left his clan, to help save poor little kits and others from the horrible tragedies that were suffered in the city to the west. Just as the kits reached their fourth moon, their mother caught whitecough and their sister, greencough, and the two were isolated to keep it from spreading throughout the nursery. Unfortunately only a few days later, Rainkit's greencough became whitecough, and both Foggysky and Rainkit died. When given to another queen to be raised by, their new foster siblings would ask who their father was. Of course both kits had ever heard the amazing stories from their mother and started to tell their new nurse mates about their wonderful father. When the other queens in the nursery heard about the stories Sunstrike and her brother were telling they laughed and explained that no good cats resided in Bloodclan, and their father was probably just one of the warriors of the Clan.
As Apprentices, Sunstrike held to her belief about her father and continued to tell her denmates all the wonderful stories that her mother had told her. Her brother didn't dare discourage his sister from her favorite hobby, fantasizing about their father, but he tried to get her to tell them less, because his their denmates and some clanmates would make fun of the little she cat behind her back for her 'foolishness.' A few moons into being an apprentice, Sunstrike was exploring the coves with Adderfang, and the heavy footed tom slipped and fell into the incoming, fast flowing tide, nearly drowning when he knocked his head on the rock. Sunstrike, fearing for her brother's life, dove in and hoisted his body back up onto one of the rocks at the edge of the cave and huddled their, trying to clean the salty water from his fur while she waited for the tide to go down. She must have fell asleep, because she awoke to the medicine cat tending to her brother and a patrol trying to awaken her. Her clan didn't believe she had the strength to pull her brother out of the tide, due to her small frame, but they were forced to accept the story because they couldn't explain another way that Adderfang could have been fished out. When she was made a warrior, she stood tall and proud next to her brother and no one but her brother knows, but while she was standing vigil, instead of keeping silent, she sat whispering her favorite story under her breath, “There was once a very large tom, the hero of all kits frightened kits in the Clans. The only cat strong enough to infiltrate BloodClan and survive, StarClan sent Jagged Stone.”
