Even then, she's a bit on the scrawny side, short legs giving her a less average height. Her tail is long, and doesn't hold still much- always twitching, even in her sleep. Her pelt is short and thin, and pale ginger, with lighter stripes seen when she's in the sun. Her eyes are bright green, and they're just as expressive as her tail. [attr="class","titeidol"]PERSONALITY Pretty exuberant, as one would expect of a newly made apprentice. Harepaw doesn't really understand the meaning of the words, 'slow down.' Her legs are short, but she's fast and she loves, more than anything, feeling the wind in her fur as she runs. She's friendly too, toward her own Clan but toward apprentices of the other Clans too. She's competitive, and may not always know when to concede, but those who know her tend to let her win or just not bother getting into contests with her. She doesn't like being alone, tending to stick with at least one other cat at all times, and she doesn't like the dark, much preferring to be out in the sun, stalking through the grass and being able see where she's running. Foxes frighten her; she knows first hand how dangerous they can be to cats, and she tends to keep a wary eye open, just in case she should ever come across another one.
[attr="class","titeidol"]HISTORY Family:
Harekit was born to Bramblebite and Doestep, one of four and the younger of three she-kits: her brother, Breezekit, and her two older sisters, Tawnykit and Dovekit. She was a restless kit from the start, playful and full of mischief right to her ears. The four gave their mother plenty of trouble, not to mention the rest of the camp. An outbreak of whitecough ended up affecting Harekit and Tawnykit, and they were moved to the medicine den during the illness. It was the worst time for Harekit- she didn't like being sick, and the fever and coughing made her feel very unwell, to the point that she couldn't bear the thought of getting up- she slept most of the time she was ill. Recovery was a bit slow and coughing spells kept her from plunging right back into play with her littermates. But Harekit was determined not to waste any more time than necessary, and it was she who managed to persuade their parents to take all four kits out for a walk over the moor. The fox that attacked must have thought it'd found an easy meal, but Bramblebite flung himself between his kits and the predator, fighting it with all his skill until other cats heard and came to help drive it off. The tom would spend a few days recovering from his wounds, but Doestep and the kits escaped unharmed. Breezekit was the one to first suggest an adventure out of the camp, but Harekit was quick to agree, and to persuade her sisters to come too. It didn't last long- they went out through the dirtplace, but some cat must have caught a glimpse of them. They'd barely reached the top of rise around the camp when they were spotted and herded back to camp. Now at six moons, Harepaw and her siblings are finally apprentices, and she's thrilled to begin training under Robincrest, to be the best WindClan warrior and moor-runner that she can be.
