Every moment of this bleak day, this absolute torture, was a prick in his heart. In every step, he was heavily reminded of all those moons ago, carrying a similarly sized figure to return it to the earth. Burying Ghost had haunted him even since he had had to do it. How could anyone be so cruel, anyone from up above, as to give him the little pup, taunt him with Ghost's kindness and innocent nature, only to snatch him away in a storm of white? The pack watched on with sad, empathetic eyes. Trixie was not far, watching her brother worriedly. Every member was struck by how low their leader's head hung, how sad his bright and happy eyes looked, the forlorn look on his normally smiling and silly face. They were even more struck by the small body he held; a little copy of his father, with the same pelt.
Judo had been sick for a few days, and a Wise Wolf had ventured down to see him, and said that there was little that could be done. Judo was simply weak, and they could only hope he'd recover, with a prayer he had left, knowing in his heart the poor pup would not survive. They all knew, somewhere inside themselves, that this was going to happen. That didn't prevent the cloud of misery from hanging over him. It didn't stop his mate, who padded next to him, her side pressed against his, from looking in complete shock. How could this be happening, again? How could she have lost another one of her precious little ones?
Walking between her mother's paws was Giselle, equally as sad and looking a bit scared, unsure of what was going to happen. Gabe was walking beside his mother, stricken and with a look in his eyes as he gazed at his brother, who he had been playing with and teasing only days previously. Why couldn't have protected his little brother? Was this his fault? One of the worst was Iris. The little girl was the smallest of her three siblings, and she walked between her father's paws, stumbling every few steps as she tried to keep up with her father, Gabe could smell the fear and confusion coming off of her, and his heart contracted every time she stuck out her nose and tentatively sniffed her fallen brother, nudging his body, unsure of what this was. Even as they had explained death to their children only moments before, Iris hadn't been able to understand how she could loose her family who she loved and relied on; why would they leave if they loved her?
Bobby wished he could have prevented this, he would have done anything to save his child; to keep that sadness off of Sable's face, to give Gabe his playmate back, to keep Giselle's sensitive heart from feeling this pain, to keep her loved ones from leaving Iris.
But there was nothing. Nothing he could do, his baby boy was dead, and he had been powerless to stop it.

History:
- First born to the old Fenrir and Rhea, Trident and Shell, Bobby was born with a sister who was named Trixie. Bobby was obviously never a serious pup, and Trident was never sure if he wanted Bobby to succeed him. However, Trixie was quiet and weak, and they knew she could never rule. The whole pack doubted if Bobby could every properly rule with the ways he joked around and would spend hours following a single leaf as it began to fall and dance across the forest floor.
- When he was due to become a Squire, Trident decided if he was going to become Fenrir, he needed a good training to get him ready. So he talked to the Bolverk, and although he was hesitant, he agreed. Bobby became his squire, and the squire and mentor would quickly become close. However, still Bobby never showed any ambition, nor did he loose any of his friendly nature. As a squire he became friendly with a squire to the scouts, a she-wolf named Sable.
- Just as Bobby was about to reach the time he should be becoming a soldier and everyone around him was doubtful that he would ever be able to go one and properly serve as a Soldier. Then, a bear broke into camp. One guard had actually died at the entrance of camp trying to keep it from entering. However, it was a point in the day that most of the hunters and soldiers were out on hunts, the scouts were also mostly gone. There were only four guards left, and one was tired from having just done the night guard watch. The bear got the first hit on a third guard, hitting them square in the chest. It was looking pretty bad, then Bobby through himself into the fray without thinking; and he proved himself to be strong and able, helping bring down the beast, preventing any of the other guards from facing fatalities. After this, Bobby went straight to his father and told him what he thought; The Guards were becoming soft from being secluded from action and remaining in the camp. They needed to have a weekly scrimmage to keep their skills sharp, and encouraged to practice more. This show of stepping up to the plate and protecting his pack is what proved to Trident his son was worthy; Bobby was declared heir that day.
- When Bobby was 34 moons, Trident died by being hit by a human who was hunting in the woods. Bobby had to become Fenrir that day, and he turned to his long-term friend and crush, Sable and asked her to become his Rhea.
- At the age of 45 moons, Bobby and Sable had their first litter; however it was only two pups. The first, Spirit, was still-born, and the second, Ghost, died when he was only a moon and a half old, from disease during a huge snow storm in which they were unable to contact the Wise Wolves for help. The whole pack was a bit shaken, that their possible heirs had both died. They doubted that, if Bobby's first litter was weak, who was to say his second would be strong enough to lead?
- Depressed from losing his two children, Bobby and Sable did not have another litter for moons to come. The pack waited anxiously, knowing Bobby would need someone to succeed him; it finally happened when Bobby was 72 moons old. A litter of four, though the death of one pup set them all on edge, waiting to see if it's siblings would follow. Thankfully, Giselle, Gabe and Iris would all prove healthy and strong in their own ways. The pack rests easy, knowing their future us in good paws.
- At 102 moons, Bobby is older, but still as playful and eccentric as always, loving to enjoy the simple things in life as he did moons ago. He loves his family more than anything else, proud of how far his daughter has gone in life, proud of Gabe for being a grand addition to the pack; a guard not like the ones who were losing their touch back in his day. Proud of Giselle and the best of grand-father's too her pups, who he loves just as dearly. After so very long of being mated, Bobby has never stopped to show affection toward Sable, nuzzling her and offering compliments as he feels just as in love as he did when he first met her.
