Dressed in your Friday Best and ready to

and can i say that you're the prettiest cat that i know or will ever know
He was somber about the death of his father, but it'd been six moons. Truth be told, the thing he worried most was slowly forgetting things about the old tom. His mom tried her best to keep his memory alive but it was a sore spot for his older brother and sister and Berrytail missed her mate horribly.
And with the apprenticeship of his niece and nephews, he seldom found himself with downtime. If he wasn't training with Sunstar or on a patrol with his brother, Honeypaw or Hawkpaw or sometimes Owlpaw would chase him down and ask to play or hunt or practice battle moves. And he was bad at hunting and often tired from the training his mentor would put him through during the day.
It had become a sort of sport for him to hide from the three of them, sometimes taking Leafpaw with him. Leafpaw was the quietest of the four and the most understanding. Sparrowpaw enjoyed him the most of the four, thought he loved them all equally.
With greenleaf upon them, there was an abundance of prey and Sparrow could focus on things besides hunting, which was great because besides fishing, he hated hunting. And none of the Thunderclan cats liked fish so unless they were pressed for prey, they wouldn't eat anything he caught. With his training done for the day he lay sprawled on his side on the platform that sat atop the limb of the tree in the Sky Nest, his whiskered twitching occasionally in his slumber, the sound of cicadas and other insects and birds could be heard around and outside, the rays of light filtering in through he branches and planks of wood that made up the nest.
